Main FORMEC Symposium buildings:

SGGW offers good facilities and infrastructure in one place. The campus is located in the southern part of Warsaw and can be easily reached from the city centre by subway or by bus. The over 70-hectare campus has a historic part, with an 18th century palace, and a contemporary part where all faculty buildings and dormitories are situated.

The SGGW campus consists of 50 buildings with a total usable space of over 200 000 m2, over 1 500 classrooms, 300 lecture halls, 24 halls, modern library,  computer centre, language centre, veterinary clinic, underground parking garage and 4000 spots in 12 well equipped dormitories (with Internet access at every spot and several dining facilities).

Additional facilities for sport, recreation and rest include: an indoor swimming pool, sport halls, weight rooms, outdoor sport fields, tennis courts, an indoor equestrian facility and large dining facilities with over a dozen cafeterias.

  • By bus 148 (timetables) -  Start LOTNISKO CHOPINA-PRZYLOTY 02, stop NOWOURSYNOWSKA SGGW-Rektorat (about 25 min). Single fare transfer ticket - costs 4,40 PLN (ticket tariff)
  • By taxi (about 15-20 min) cost about 25-30 PLN

From the Warsaw Chopin Airport (www.lotnisko-chopina.pl ) to Hotel Puławska Residence (http://www.pulawskaresidence.com.pl)

  • By bus 148 (timetables) - Start LOTNISKO CHOPINA-PRZYLOTY 02, stop POLECZKI 03 (about 12 min). Single fare transfer ticket - cost 4,40 PLN (ticket tariff). Walk 200 m (about 3 min)
  • By taxi (about 10-15 min) cost ca. 25-30 PLN

  • To the venue: By metro (Line 1), start CENTRUM in direction Kabaty (stop SŁUŻEW).  Bus 193 in direction URSYNÓW PŁN and get out on a bus stop NOWOURSYNOWSKA SGGW-Rektorat (timetables). Single fare transfer ticket - cost 4,40 PLN (ticket tariff).
  • To the venue: By metro (Line 1), start CENTRUM in direction Kabaty (stop STOKŁOSY). Then you can walk directly (about 1000 m) or take a bus 193 in direction BOKSERSKA and get out on a bus stop NOWOURSYNOWSKA SGGW-Rektorat (timetables). Single fare transfer ticket - cost 4,40 PLN (ticket tariff).
  • To IKAR Hotel and Dormitories: By metro (Line 1), start CENTRUM in direction Kabaty (stop SŁUŻEW). Take a bus 193 in direction URSYNÓW PŁN. and get out on a bus stop NOWOURSYNOWSKA SGGW-Rektorat/SGGW-Biblioteka (timetables). Single fare transfer ticket - cost 4,40 PLN (ticket tariff). Then you can walk directly (about 400 m)
  • To IKAR Hotel and Dormitories: By metro (Line 1), start CENTRUM in direction Kabaty (stop URSYNÓW). Then you can walk directly (about 400 m) or take a bus 179,195 or 209 in direction URSYNÓW PŁN. and get out on a bus stop URSYNÓW PŁN. Single fare transfer ticket - cost 4,40 PLN (ticket tariff).

From the Central Railway Station (WARSZAWA CENTRALNA) to Hotel Puławska Residence (http://www.pulawskaresidence.com.pl)

  • To the venue: By metro (Line 1), start CENTRUM in direction Kabaty (stop WILANOWSKA).  Bus 192 or 709 or 727 or 739 - start METRO WILANOWSKA, stop POLECZKI 01 (about 15 min). Single fare transfer ticket - cost 4,40 PLN (ticket tariff). Walk  200 m (about 3 min)
